Since the pandemic began over two million new golfers have started playing golf in the United Kingdom which is very exciting for the future of the game.

DP World and JdV Sport formed an events partnership to form a network of women to experience golf and support one another. Working with DP World, Nick and Jill from JdV Sport created a bespoke Ladies Golf programme which has seen over thirty ladies, who are complete novices to the game of golf, to start playing the game and learning new skills.

This collaborative effort by our dedicated team set out to engage, empower and support women through golf. The experience allows a simple and accessible platform to build a foundation and creates a network to support the continuation of golf no matter what skill level or interest.

Our first Ladies event was hosted by Jill and Nick at the Grove in Hertfordshire with lifestyle partners, YSL, Givenchy, MAC and Westlab with stylish goody bags. The Ladies enjoyed a luxurious lunch before heading to the practice range and short game areas. The day was very enjoyable and saw DP World employees meeting from across the business to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We saw tremendous improvement and the four PGA professionals from the Grove along with Jill and Nick hosted an intensive golfing experience. We look forward to welcoming DP World ladies for our next event in March 2022 at our London golf studio and continue their development in golf.
